Welcoming a Shih Tzu puppy into your life promises endless delight and companionship. These pups thrive with owners who have ample time to dedicate to their care, much like caring for a newborn. While they require your undivided attention initially, with patient housebreaking and consistent training, these puppies will grow into loyal and well-mannered pets. Being aware of their needs early on sets you up for giving your tiny bundle of fur an exceptional start in life.
How do I potty train my new Shih Tzu puppy?
To successfully potty train your Shih Tzu puppy, adopt a patient and disciplined approach. Regularly reinforce their potty habits by visiting the chosen spot-indoors on a pad or outdoors-multiple times each day, particularly after meals and naps. Consistency is the key to training; with diligence and time, your Shih Tzu will master this essential behavior.
We proudly collaborate with a select group of home-based breeders committed to raising our dogs. Such nurturing settings ensure that each Shih Tzu puppy is accustomed to a home environment, fostering sociable and balanced temperaments from the start.
Your peace of mind is important to us – every breeder we work with is officially registered with the USDA, guaranteeing compliance with all regulated standards and a commitment to ethical breeding practices.
